How Do Polarized Sunglass Lenses Work?
When light bounces off flat surfaces it becomes polarized. So when light reflects off the ocean or flat ground it will hit your eyes at a horizontal polarity.
We can stop this glare by wearing polarized sunglasses. They contain a filter the stops horizontally polarized light effectively reducing glare.
